Kumud has had an interest in jewelry making and the cultural significance of jewelry wearing since childhood. Her metalwork reflects inspiration from a variety of sources, including the jewelry of her Indian and Filipina heritage, human-made objects and architecture, the natural world, and her everyday experiences and interactions with people. She prefers to create abstract pieces and often finds herself striving to balance geometric patterns and organic forms, while contrasting ornate details with clean lines. She currently enjoys experimenting with different mediums and techniques of jewelry design.

Kumud lives and works in Goshen and has been a member of the guild since 2015.
