Andrea Miller is an educator and visual artist whose practice is greatly influenced by the traditions of metalsmithing, community outreach, and public education. Her favorite metals projects involve construction techniques and complex soldering. Concepts and storytelling drive most of her work.
Miller completed her MFA in metals from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned a BS in art education as well as a BFA in metals from Ball State University. Miller began an on-going collaborative project called Worn with artist and friend, Amelia Toelke, in 2017 and currently teaches at Warsaw Area Career Center in Warsaw, Indiana.
