Jess is a metalsmith and enamelist. Her work is born out of a love of texture and pattern. She has a deep affinity for materials and how they are used, as they often serve as points of inspiration or end up as physical elements in her pieces.
Jess is Goshen native with a big heart for the midwest. She graduated from Goshen College with a BA in Art and a focus in jewelry in 2014. She currently works out of the Goshen Jewelers Guild, a shared studio space above the Farmer’s Market. She loves writing and receiving snail mail, riding her bike around town, and eating good food with friends. It is her life goal to be a regular somewhere and have a menu item named after herself.
